Sound settings and pass-through for Spectra Resolve for MacOS

DaVinci Resolve has some unusual sound settings required for use with Streambox Spectra. Currently (Sept. 2022), sound cannot be streamed when using Windows Resolve and the Spectra Plugin. It does work on MacOS but requires the following settings.

Begin by added the Spectra Node to the Resolve Timeline. In the Settings for the Node, be sure that "Enable Spectra Sound" is checked. See the below image.

Next enter the Resolve Preferences (not Project Preferences) and select Video and Audio I/O. Under the section Audio I/O, select the output device as "Spectra Audio Device."

Then, configure the Monitor Speaker Configuration. Next to each channel in the layout, select a channel going to Spectra Audio Device. The below picture indicates an example configuration for stereo audio.

The audio is now configured to be added to the stream created by Spectra, but it may not be audible to the Resolve user. To hear it through the Mac's speakers, go to the Source tab of the Spectra Control Panel. In the Source Audio Monitoring section, check the setting "Passthrough to System Audio" and click Apply.
