Bellevue, WA June 9, 2022 – Streambox, a leader in remote workflows for Post Production and Content Contribution, has announced an innovative new product for On-Set monitoring.

The IP output supports dual-stream capability to provide two simultaneous bit rates from a single SDI source for added flexibility in signal distribution.
Alex Telitsine, Streambox CTO, explains further: “Streambox Aura and iMonitor represent a complete end-to-end and streamlined solution for on-set monitoring workflows. iMonitor incorporates a range of important features that would otherwise require multiple proprietary devices and, therefore, additional complexity / more points of failure. iMonitor runs on the relatively inexpensive iPad Pro, which provides superb color accuracy – close to a reference monitor! – and the ability to switch between different color standards and HDR or SDR views, using intuitive controls right on the iPad screen.”
iMonitor also provides multiple 3D LUTs, eliminating the need for external LUT boxes and further simplifying the overall workflow. The 3D LUTs are user configurable and can be used for both “looks” and display calibration.
As if that were not enough, Aura can also send a signal to remote viewers over a private network or Streambox Cloud services!
Pricing has not yet been set but expect it to be super competitive relative to other solutions. The combination of Aura and iMonitor will be available on Streambox’s “Pay-as-you-go” plan, which is perfect for the rental market.
