Streambox Meets Streaming Media Professionals at IBC 2018
At IBC 2018, Streambox is showing its high-performance media streaming solutions to picture-perfect pixels for various applications including broadcasting and post-production. Streambox can be found in Hall 8, Stand A08.
Streambox Chroma advanced encoder/decoder systems are ideal for critical UHD, and HD contribution. Native support for 12-bit 4:4:4 RGB color makes them a perfect match for Dolby Vision, HDR-10, and HDR10+ workflows. 16-channel uncompressed audio also makes Chroma suitable for projects incorporating Dolby ATMOS. This functionality makes Chroma the only live review solution in the industry that addresses the need for both HDR/Dolby Vision video and Dolby ATMOS. With support for up to 16 audio channels, Chroma is the right fit for productions with Dolby ATMOS and integration with audio applications such as Avid Pro Tools.
The Streambox Avenir line of portable and mobile encoders deliver reliable HD video streaming with bonded connectivity over various types of networks. Other Streambox solutions include Streambox Cloud Services global streaming transport, and software encoders, players, encryption, and streaming servers are being shown at the event. Mobile Media Player has been recently released as an application supporting ten programmable HD video channels designed to integrate with other Streambox components for cost-effective viewing of high-quality video on iPads and iPhones in real-time. Mobile Media Player is designed to automatically "pull" live video from Streambox Cloud Services, Streambox Enterprise Server, or directly point-to-point from various Streambox encoders such as Chroma for live playout.
Streambox has just released another type of media player. NODE 2 is a small form factor media player device supporting ten programmable HD video channels made to integrate with other Streambox components for cost-effective viewing of high-quality video in real-time.
