How to Access Settings

Accessing settings to control our Encoders will vary from product to product. Our Hardware Encoders use a built-in web interface which can be accessed directly over the local network, assuming the unit is online, remotely via the internet. Our Spectra software uses a GUI app called Spectra Control Panel, and our SpectraVM software uses a web interface.

Web Interface

On products with a web interface, use a web browser on a computer on the same local network as the Streambox. In the address bar, enter the local IP Address of the Streambox device.

Spectra Control Panel

Streambox Spectra software uses an app called Spectra Control Panel to control the Spectra Encoder, which operates as a hidden service on the computer on which it runs. Run the app Spectra Control Panel to start up Spectra, whether you're using a plugin version or a hardware or NDI input version.
