After announcing the beta release of Spectra for Pro Tools on MacOS in Q3 of last year, Streambox is pleased to introduce the latest innovation in remote and cloud-based audio production: Spectra for Avid Pro Tools on Windows.
Designed with ease of use in mind, Spectra for Pro Tools enables audio engineers to work directly from their PCs or the Cloud, eliminating the need for external audio equipment or extra video encoding tools. It features Dolby Atmos Renderer compatibility, allowing the user to stream up to 16 channels of uncompressed, low-latency audio along with HD video.
Spectra for Pro Tools also leverages the ASIO driver found in Windows OS to deliver audio directly from the cloud with minimal latency. This feature is crucial for real-time collaboration and production, ensuring high fidelity and synchronization for even the most complex projects.
Another groundbreaking addition to Spectra is the integration of AWS Cloud Digital Interface (CDI) video output. This provides the user with ultra-low latency, high-quality video streaming capabilities, enabling seamless integration with AWS cloud services and infrastructures. AWS CDI support ensures that audio workflows can achieve synchronous, high-quality video output alongside their audio streams, enhancing the overall production and collaboration experience.
